Been a Laker fan since I came out. LeBron, Lebron where u at, where u at Kobe's at the top why you ridin in the back I guess having Shaq dropped u 2 spots back from another sweep courtesy of Kobe's attack Boston in LA call it a mismatch Put Artest on Paulie guarantee he'll get snatched Fisher on the wing droppin 3's and Gasol's possibly the best power forward I have ever seen With a front line combining up to 21 feet Best believe KG is gonna get his stuff beat And since KP doesn't work with Toon Disney His skills are not Magic and he can't glass eat Put the ball in the hands of 24 and see Why the court still belongs to the MVP In the Finals where the games are win or go home L.A. all day Beantown can get blown

    Work and Parameterization?

I'd appreciate help with questions 1 and 2

    1. Compute the work done by the force

    field

    F = (sin(xz) + 3)i + (x - y^2 + z)j + (e^x + y^2)k

    on a particle starting at P = (2,-1,-4) and going in a straight line to Q = (2, 3, 0).

    I know the parameterized line is r(t) = (2, 4t - 1, 4t - 4) and dr = (0, 4, 4)

    I know F = (sin(2*(4t-4))+3, 2 - (4t-1)^2 + (4t-4), e^2 + (4t-1)^2)

    = (sin(8t-8)+3, 2 - (16t^2-8t+1) + (4t-4), e^2 + 16t-8t+1)

    = (sin(8t-8)+3; -16t^2 + 12t - 3; e^2 + 16t - 8t +1)

    I also know Work = Integral(F * dr) =

    Integral of ((sin(8t-8)+3; -16t^2 + 12t - 3; e^2 + 16t - 8t +1) * (0, 4, 4))

What I'm confused about is do I have my bounds for "t" from the question I was given or is this just an indefinite integral? Also I'd like help solving the rest. Thank you for your time.

    2. I'm pretty sure I can solve this since it's a conservative vector field. I just want to affirm that I can find the work by finding the potential difference from (1,pi) to (0,-1).

    Thank you for your time.

  • vector calculus question?

The thickness of the frosting at a point on a rectangular piece of brownie is equal to one

twentieth of the square of the horizontal distance from that point to the bottom left corner of

the brownie when seen from above. If the brownie is three inches wide by two inches across,

what is the average thickness of frosting on the brownie?

  • Honestly, this is embarrassing?

This section has turned to complete crap and I'm embarrassed so much has gone wrong from the 2 years that I stopped coming here. The trolls aren't even funny or intelligent enough to take seriously. And most people on here sound like they're still in Middle School. If anyone wants to talk real basketball, please feel free to join the NBA board on gamefaqs.

  • To NBA viewing veterans:?

I'm not trying to downplay over overrate anyone here but I was born in 93 so I wouldn't really have that great of a scope of a viewpoint. What exactly made Magic better than LeBron is now without the obvious championships and accolades that Magic had? I'm asking things like who was the better passer, carried his team more, worked harder, etc... Thanks.

  • Who's missing Trevor now?

Artest for Ariza is working out so well right now. Considering Artest now lives shooting the three ball and doing nothing else. Ariza, on the other hand, could have helped to slow down Westbrook and Durant a bit since he is YOUNGER, QUICKER, AND MORE ATHLETIC.

Isn't it funny how Artest comes in and everyone thinks he's a better scorer than Ariza yet the team is scoring less this season and postseason. Oh, but it's cool. Artest is still trying to find his way into the Laker offense. He'll be good around the Finals.

Sorry for ranting but people are getting on the Kobe and are missing the point. The Lakers with Bynum, Gasol and Odom are getting outrebounded in the playoffs. Westbrook cannot be guarded by anything but Shannon Brown when he's locked in defensively. Fisher has been the only consistent Laker doing things like boxing out in the paint, taking and making big shots, attacking the basket, and controlling the offense. And I think Artest left his offense in Houston. Trevor's defense, slashing, hustle, and youth sure is missed by LA.

  • Basketball players: Do you do this?

Do you watch WNBA games to increase your basketball ability. I see a bunch of people who are embarrassed that there is a WNBA but I don't think there's anything wrong with watching professional women play considering that they're more playbook minded than scoring minded.

  • Should I stop answering these questions?

Then Kobe/Jordan arguments and the questions stating why Kobe is not the G.O.A.T.? Because it seems to me that no one will accept any points about Kobe having the chance to be better than Jordan or even the Laker's all-time best player. I'd just like to know why intelligent people who know how to type and argue don't give Kobe any opportunity to be the NBA's greatest even after his career is over. All I hear is handchecking, Jordan was better defensively, The 80-90's had more physicality, and Kobe only has 4 rings compared to Jordan's 6.

    Same old sh*t.

  • Who was more instrumental in winning Game 4?

In the 2009 NBA Finals, Trevor Ariza or Derek Fisher?

Let me remind you that the Lakers started the 2nd half down 10 and were loking like they were going to get destroyed. Then Ariza came in and sfter going 0-6 in the first half, scored 13 of the Lakers 18 3rd quarter points.

Fisher, then came in in the 4th quarter and hit the game tying shot from three against Jameer Nelson. Then in OT, he hit a three to give the Lakers a three point lead with about 2-3 minutes to go.
