Turning off wifi on my Lexmark interpret Printer?

I'm a college student and I can't have wifi settings with my printer. So how do I shut that wifi light off?

Update:

Oh, thanks. I read up and figured out my wifi wasn't completely set up so I'm fine. Thanks for the info.

I assume you cant have wifi settings because there is no wifi device to connect the printer too, is that right. You can have wireless by using a router or access point to connect the printer to the laptop or PC, it does not have to connect to the internet, just to the printer and the computer.

The logic is connect it via cable and if there is no wifi setup or none available the printer will not use it anyway.

If the LED is orange then it is not connected to a wifi signal, if green then it is. Some Printers are a sort of wireless hotspot on their own, you can connect directly to the printer without the need for any other wireless "bridging" device.

If the wifi light is orange, its an indication that it is off. If it is green, you can disconnect it from the network via settings

You don't need to do anything! Just use the USB cable and connect it to your PC.
