p2 punches amp questions?

im buying 2 sony 15" p2 punches what watt amp should i get and wat will it cost also my friend said that p1 standed for power and p2 stood for something else but didnt know wat is it true and if so wat does it mean

    The "p" in p1, p2, or p3 stands for Punch (Rockford's middle class series). The next class up is the Power series, it consist of the T1 or T2 sub. Power is Rockford's top series. Go to RockfordFosgate.com to check them both out
