How to remove rubs from a Breyer horse?
Is there any way to remove rubs from a Breyer horse? I am not talking about scratches, just the light, shiny rubs.

You can't remove rubs (when the paint has been scratched, rubbed or worn and is thin) only marks made of stuff that scraped off something else.
What you can do about rubs is light patchwork. Use acrylic paint and a fine, soft brush to lightly fill in worn spots. Here is a website that give some more instructions: http://www.walkaboutfarm.com/index.asp?PageAction=...

Unfortunately, you cannot "remove" rubs from a breyer horse. But what you can do, is get a fine brush, and acrylic paint, and make the paint very thin, and put on 3-4 layers of this, until it completely covers up the rub, and it is the same colour.

try alcohol, like the medical kind/ or nail polish remover. or some kind or surface cleaner would do.
