How did Chell get into the test chambers initially?
In the (awesome) game Portal, the main character, Chell, wakes up in a bed that is in the first test chamber. My friend brought up an interesting question. If the enrichment facility is abandoned, how did she get there in the first place?

It is presumed she worked at Aperture science before Glados was turned on (going rampant and not letting anyone in/out of Aperture) and she went into stasis.
