It seems a little odd that both would produce energy. One would think that it uses up energy to do one thing, and it releases energy to do the other. Why does it go either way?

I'd really love to have a nice, durable high quality, high frame-rate camera for filming sports-style activities.

BUT

I can only spend up to $500.

Suggestions?

I'm trying to write a program on my TI-83 that asks for input, inserts these values into a function, then puts this function into Y1 and graphs it.

Simple example: I want to input values for A and B into the formula, 3A+10B^2/x, then put this into Y1 and graph.

I thought that would be:

Input A

Input B

3A+10B^2/X -> Y1

That gives me: "ERR: DATA TYPE" when I try to put it in Y1.

So my question is, from a program, how do I enter a function into Y1 and graph?

In the (awesome) game Portal, the main character, Chell, wakes up in a bed that is in the first test chamber. My friend brought up an interesting question. If the enrichment facility is abandoned, how did she get there in the first place?

I'm in high school marching band, and my friends appointed me as the person that has to go find us a fun song to play as a trumpet feature while we are in the stands at a football game. I just wanted to see if you could come up with anything great.

So it will be all trumpets, a group of 9 people.

Yesterday I was hanging out and doing some tricks for fun. After landing one of the tricks (I didn't mess up) I got a sharp pain in my hip that came whenever I lifted my left leg. The pain started out small but then got increasingly worse throughout the day. This morning, the pain is still here. It feels like it's coming from inside of the actual joint. I thought it might be a pinched nerve, but, after looking it up, I'm not feeling any of the numbness or radiating pain that is associated with a pinched nerve.

Do you have any idea what this could be and how I can stop the pain?

Many of my electronics (especially my digital camera) are very inaccurate when they indicate how charged your battery is. They will say 3 bars. Then 2 bars. Then 3. Then 1. Then 2. So I was wondering how these electronics test battery charge and why this method is so inaccurate?

I recently installed Ubuntu on my laptop using Wubi. Wubi worked fine. Then, when I restarted my computer and began the Ubuntu installation process. The first step was 'Migrate documents and settings'

On this step for some reason, no matter what i select (and even if I select nothing) the Forward button would not highlight and be 'clickable'?

I also tried just quitting the installation. It then brought me to the desktop.

One Icon on the desktop was "Install Ubuntu 10.04 LTS" I tried that.

I went through all the steps no problem (although I don't know what partitions are), but when the "installing system" progress bar started, it got to 15% and gave me the error "Error opening /host/ubuntu/disks/swap/disk: No such file or directory."

Im stumped. Any suggestions.

By the way i'm using an HP with Windows XP.

Which trumpet is better? A Yamaha Xeno (YTR-84455) or King Flair (2055-T)? I can get the Xeno for $1,299 and the Flair for $999. I am a high school student looking for a good trumpet for a lifelong hobby.
