I actually am looking at cameras now. I researched the Nikon Coolpix L110 for a really long time. I found out that it is actually a automatic camera that can't really take really good pictures. It takes pictures that maybe a $150 camera would take. It's disappointing I know.

The DPI tag in the EXIF header of camera images has nothing to do with pixel density. If you really need the header set to 300dpi, then use a program to modify the EXIF header to 300dpi. DPI is primarily useful when you are doing commercial printing. For home use, don't worry about it as your printing programs will figure out what dpi you need for your particular printer.

300 dpi is a high quality image. Nikon Coolpix wouldn't take HD quality pictures
