It is a beautiful song, but it is a bit slow, but that would make it a wonderfully challenging piece of music to skate to. You'd definitely have to start working on it now.

But I Have a few suggestion following your a capella train of thought, and something tells me that people really haven't ever skated to this piece of music (at least none of the Christmas shows I've seen here in my areas of Canada)

You can also get some entertaining a capella pieces of 'Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy'

Or there's always grandma got run over by a reindeer ;) that was always one of my favourites.

But I'm guessing you're in the USA, but there's an amazing a capella group from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Called the Heebee Jeebees. (see http://www.heebee-jeebees.com/) They've produced 2 Christmas CDs with most songs having their own "take" on Christmas song, plus a few original ones.

This link is their latest Christmas CD that has sample tracks that you can listen to.

But if you want to skate to imogen heap's song (love her voice she's one of my favourite artists) The you'll have to start planning and working on the program, its doable but try to challenge yourself even though its a slow song!

    Good luck and Have fun!

It depends if you are more of an artistic skater, and are going to do footwork then you should go for this one, but if you were planning on more jumps and fast skating then you should get a faster song. I really like when people do it to the Narnia music, it usually fits well.

If you are allowed to do songs with words I recommend....

Thats how you know (from Enchanted)- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRYU4cqUAUs

    Love Story- Taylor Swift

There are several others too, but that should be enough to get you started.

Long time skating fan here. I've been to more than 50 skating competitions over the past (lemme think here) 23 years, but the one song I've never heard is the theme from Love Story. Maybe give that one some consideration?
