In Mass Effect 2 how can I keep Miranda from dying?

Anyway. I really don't think there's anything you can do to keep any unloyal squadmates alive during the suicide mission. The first time I played, I lost Jack's loyalty during their cat fight and wasn't able to get it back, and she died on me.

I don't think you can change what happens to Miranda without her loyalty. You'll have to do better your second playthrough and have enough paragon/renegade points to settle their fight without losing their loyalties.

Well it actually depends. I lost Jack's loyalty on my second playthrough. If you beat the last mission fast enough, you MIGHT save her. But with no loyalty, she might die. There is actually a big chance of her dying. If necessary, do not do Mordin's (If you don't use him regularly) because he is more prone to be gunned down. That way, he would die first and Miranda might live longer.

By the way, if you lose their loyalty, you can gain more renegade/paragon points and gain their loyalty back through a side option. Its gotta be at least 65%. Same goes for Legion and Tali.
