I just got this burros tail succulent plant and it s huge! However it was forgotten about for years in a greenhouse and it s gotten thick and unruly and it has whole areas that are shedding leaves and breaking off. Also it s got to be root bound. I was thinking about trimming it up, thinning it out, and possibly splitting the plant and repotting it. I have never dealt with something like this, though, and I m trying to figure out a way to go about it. Thanks!

I have a 3.0 v6 2000 Ford ranger. My heat will not blow warm air. Sometimes when I first crank it up I'll get warm air until my motor heats up, then it cools off and stays off! Both the in/out lines that go to my heater core are hot and I'm not getting foggy Windows or coolant on the floor. I had a hole in my radiator and replaced it. My thermostat seems to be working right, after about ten minutes of driving it reaches midway up and stops. When I turn off my air/heat sometimes I hear a whooping sound like someone is inside my dash making the sound, but I know there is no air in the system. What is up?

So I was heading back to my castle and I saw a Creeper looking at me through the glass from INSIDE THE HOUSE. The windows he was frowning at me from runs the length of the house and he is right in front of my bedroom and only about 10 blocks down the hall from my crafting area and chests. I have only been playing for a few days and if he blows up, so does all my stuff in my chests. So I dug a hole in front of the glass he is in front of. Its 3x3x3. I dug a trench about 4 blocks long to a nearby giant lake thinking I could fill up the hole and break the glass, thereby drowning the creeper. However, when I do this the water just flows into the hole but never fills up. What is up? How can I fix this? I know other people make lakes so what am I doing wrong?

I am moving the shell from a fleetside ranger to a stepside ranger. The years and everything ese is the same.

I'm just curious. I have a lot of bamboo that is growing very thickly around my house. Most of it is about 20ft high and 2-3 inches in diameter. I want moso too, though, to plant as a screener around another property line. Will it make an ok screen. Also, can I mix it with the other bamboo that grows thicker?

I want to burn a DVD. I know that DVD players either play pal or ntsc. How do I choose which format to play? Don't most U.S. DVD players support PAL? I have an option to choose mixed format but I am afraid to burn the wrong format. Thanks

I have some sort of seed that is to grow a vine according to the person who gave it to me. I don't know what kind of seed it is though, so I was hoping someone could identify it. Thanks.

Before I ask, I am just going to give a little background info so you may be able to help me more. I have been shooting a bow for about three years pretty consistently, every week a couple of times. I do hunt, but never thought of bow hunting until now. This is my setup:

A high country bow, model sniper. From the little I have read on it, its an older bow and shoots slower than most compounds now. It has 65lb draw, when I had it set three years ago. Never had a new string. 28" draw length. My arrows are extreme hunter arrows made by gold tip. They were cut to my draw length so I guess they are about 30". I do not know how much they weight. I have a feeling I need to get new arrows because I have been reading up on some things before I started hunting. Here are my questions:

I have 100 grain broadheads and field tips. My broad heads shoot way off. I figured this would be normal, but I do not know how to fix it. How can I fix this? I have read a ton of stuff and I do not know where to start. I have read that I need to balance my arrows, find arrows to fit my bow and also tune my bow to match my arrows. I am totally confused about this. Can someone offer me some help? And can I do this on my own? Like I said, I do not know what is step one. I have been shooting good groupings at 20 yards, 30 yards, 35 yards, and ok groups at 40 yards. I really enjoy archery and I want to take it to the next level. Thanks in advance. I have everyone loyal except for Miranda (jeeze thanks Jack) and I lost her on my first suicide mission attempt by leaving her to hold the doors (second squad). I thought that she would not die if I kept her with me the whole time the second time I tried it but she did. Is there anything I can do?

I got a new Netgear router (WNDR3300) to replace an older one. I live in an apartment next door to my grandparents. I pay for their cable and do not want to have to pay for another cable bill in my apartment. Sometimes, when the wind blows right I can receive a weak signal. I thought the newer, higher powered WNDR3300 router would give me better signal. In fact it did worse. Before I go buy another router, I would like to know a good router that will give me some serious OOMPH. I will be using the internet for email, online classes, and of course, for XBOX live :). I have been using compact cameras for a couple years and I want to step it up a notch. What would be a good DSLR camera to look into for nature photography? I need something that snaps fast. Someone mentioned something along the canon rebel line but I don't know. Also, should I consider a camera with Full Frame capabilities or is that just a little overboard? Thanks!

I want to upgrade and shave weight off my backpacking gear. I'm really interested in big agnes's setup that combines sleeping bag and pad. Has anyone used this system and how does it hold up in cold weather?

This is going to be a long one.

So six months ago, I take a job in the Carribbean for an internship/get-away-from-home thing. My parents have been seperated (mom said she had to get out of the house because of allergies...yea right...) and my sister has started to go crazy. Hanging with the wrong crowd, drinking, smoking (mostly marijuana) and starting to get herself in really bad situations. Besides the fact that my sister is going insane and I'm the only one doing anything about it, my parents dont seem to be working out their issues either. So all of a sudden, it seems like I am the one that has to deal with my sister, my mom venting on my dad, and vice versa. It feels like I am the only one trying to keep the family together. (i'm 19 btw). After my sister quit school and my mom and dad didn't do anything about it, i left home for the Dominican.

While in the DR, I was without electricity most of the time, running water most of the time, didn't get paid anything but just enough to buy food, and basically lived in poverty the whole time I was there. Only think going for me was that I had internet when I had power, which meant that I got to keep up w/ my family. Well, six months with no one that speaks english, no electricity half the time, can kind of get you down, but luckily, after three months, my boss found a cool guy from britain that started to work with me (he's 28). Well we hit it off great. A bout two months after he comes down, my friend comes down for a visit for a week. Big morale booster. Its also here that I finally convince my mom to take action against my sister. She got put into a rehab program but she checked herself out after a week. My mom or dad didn't put her back in. At this time, she is also staying over at her boyfriends house everynight and is telling my mom and dad that her boyfriend isn't there, but that she is just staying w/ his mom. My mother believes it, my dad doesn't, but at this point he can't control his sixteen year old daughter. She is also forging my parents checks and one week runs them out of a couple thousand dollars. Meanwhile mom and dad aren't together. To top it all off, my Uncle, who has some money, buys her a new car and starts putting money in a locked account for her to start college with. He tells her he will give her the car if she finishes highschool. My sister goes to school one day to get the car and the leaves. She has about sixty grand to start college but she doesn't want to!!!! About 5 weeks before i come home, my mom comes by for almost two weeks to visit me. Due to my working schedule while i was there, she only sees me for 4 days. She is with my british friend the rest of the time. She tells me before she leaves that my sister has a tattoo, and to not tell my father.

The last few weeks before i leave, i tell my friend from Britain that he ought to come by the U.S. to visit, just to dispell some stereotypes and to have a good time hanging out before he leaves (we didn't get to hang out much). The operation I was working on closes down right before i am to come home, and it turns out my British friend will be coming home early... about three weeks after i get back.

So finally I come home, been dying to see friends, gotta catch up, yadda yadda yadda. I am leaving a friends house and my cellphone comes into service. My sister has been looking for me for a LONG time. My friend (not the brit) gives me her number, cant reach her, call him back to tell him i couldn't reach her. I asked him what she wanted. He didn't want to tell me, so after several minutes of begging him to tell me, he tells me my sister is pregnant. I just lose it, and drive all night and all day. My mom also knows. My sister, who is 16, when talking to me, is treating it like something fun, and its killing me. My mother tells me not to tell dad, who at this point is around breaking point.

So I have one shocking revelation right as i get home. Well, the british guy finally arrives. He comes to our house that night. My mom is at my dads house and has a nice dinner cooked (never happens) and we all watch a movie. My dad goes to bed early so I stay up with my mom and the british guy to watch this film. Toward the end i go outside to get firewood. I'm out there for several minutes (firewood a bit away) and when I come inside, I see them in the window reflection pulling away really fast from each other. I'm shocked, but act like I don't see, and stay up to about 4 in the morning so they wouldn't be alone w/ each other again.

Next day, I take my friend and the brit on a good hiking trip for overnight. My mom calls to check on me, then the british guy talks to her for about 45 mins. The next day we get back, watch a football game, and mom comes over and cooks dinner again. I stay up to 4 in the morning again also. The next day i woke up at 12 o'clock (what can I say?) and the british guy is gone with m

I am going kayaking in Florida in December. I need to know what would be good, cold water, kayaking gear. I have a spray skirt already, but not much water related gear. I do have some backpacking gear though. Would outer, water resistant shells (like my marmot) that are made for backpacking be as efficient for kayaking? And what about footwear? All I have are some water shoes for summer/spring. Are there any insulated water boots? Thanks!
