Can someone please help ID a houseplant I've received leaf cuttings from?
My mom gave me some leaf cuttings from a houseplant in her collection while I was home for a visit. Unfortunately, she didn't know the name of the plant so I have no idea how to care for it. I'm pretty novice as far as houseplants go, so to add another problem I've never started a plant using leaves. I'm only familiar with stem cuttings.
First things first though, the plant the leaves came from was of a vining type. The leaves are dark green, smooth, thick, and firm with a glossy look on both sides and there is lots of vein like detail in them. The underside is lighter in color. Mom had it hanging in a north window. I don't think region matters as far as houseplants go, but just in case, the main plant is in South Dakota. And I will be attempting to not kill the leaves at my home in North Dakota.
Then may I ask how to pot leaf cuttings and how long the stems/roots should be before doing so? Thanks for any help and info. Hope the picture can be accessed and shows enough detail. I've flipped a couple over in hopes of being more help. If a better photo is needed I'll provide one asap. I haven't been to Y!A in so long that I had to get acquainted with the new Yahoo Pulse profile.

That's a variety of Hoya http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images?_adv_...
Just stick the stem (and a portion of the leaf) in moist soil. http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=root+hoya+leaf&fr...

It's a hanging rubber plant, native to the wet drylands of the northern hemisphere.
