After the promising ending to the season, how do you think the Orioles will do next season?

And do you think they should sign a high profile player during the offseason?

Without question it will be better. But a great manager is only part of the game. They need a few more key players and definitely some better pitching. I'd say they still finish under .500 but by a lot less and if they do well improving the roster in 3 or 4 years they could even make the post season.

They might actually, finally, make a run at it! .500 that is. Right now, the East is just too tough for them. I do not see them finishing out of the cellar next year. If some of their kids develop, they may be more of a threat in a few years but to ever be a serious contender, they are going to have to do it just like the Rays did it.

I think they need to sign some high profile players, but I do not see them doing that.

they will still finish after the Yankees Red Sox and Rays in the AL East. That division is just too tough for the Orioles. They might finish ahead of the Blue Jays next year though.

They need to add three or four players to be considered a contender.

A bat in the lineup, starting pitching and a setup man. From free agency they could add these three:

Carl Crawford, Freddy Garcia and Jason Frasor. Then we could call them a contender.

they got talent on the batting side thats for sure but they are still young give em 2-3 more years with players like pie, jones, markakis, reimold, wieters, bell.. their pitching isnt bad either with young talent like bergeson, matusz, arrieta and tillman but they need to make a trade for an ace like cliff lee, oswalt, or a greinke type pitcher.. and dont forget they now have one of the best managers in the game in mister buck showalter

Who knows...Washington played well at the end of the 2009 season...and ended up dead last in the Division..cant really tell...pitching always helps

They need pitching. So it's going to go pretty much the same way unless they get pitching.

    They'll finish around .500 probably
