    Dynamic IP Addressing

    =

Dynamic IP addressing assigns a different IP address each time the ISP customer logs on to their computer, but this is dependent upon the Internet Service Provider (ISP) because some ISP's only change the IP address as they deem it necessary.

It's not unusual to have your IP address change. These numbers are assigned dynamically by your ISP and will change frequently.

On a local network (LAN) they are assigned by your router using DHCP (Dynamic Host Control Protocol) which assigns addresses as necessary according to how many devices are attached and the order in which they join the network.

You ISP dynamically allocates its ip addresses - as opposed to statically allocating them.

Your internet connection may provide dynamic ip ( which is better than a static ip)

if you still want a static one then
