It looked like an awesome job, just writing about what he's done that day and making it entertaining, I think i could do that and if it pays well i could start practising now, do you need any qualifications? I think he was a colomnist but i don't know if that's the word

He got the job as Columnist but what he really wanted was to be a Reporter. he ended up writing columns and included his dog Marley in them. He was promoted to a daily columnist but he quit because he wanted to pursue being a Reporter. They moved later in the movie and he got a job as a Reporter, but ended up wanting the Columnist thing.

Both of them were newspaper writers.
