Has anybody noticed the weather change in Vancouver?
The weather in Vancouver has changed over the past 10 years. Has anybody noticed this or is it just me? It used to be much colder before but now it's getting warmer and warmer. 10 years ago we had snow. Now we're lucky if we get 1 day.

I've certainly noticed the summers have been getting warmer and drier; more similar to California. There seems to be more very hot days than there was years ago. I haven't noticed the change as much in the winter; except that winter 2009-2010 had well above average temperatures. I think that's why you suggest there's seldom any snow anymore...Remember December 2008? There was close to 3 feet of snow during that month at the Airport and the temperature dropped to -15C (very cold for Vancouver).

It's been changing for longer than that. People who lived in Vancouver in the 40s and 50s will tell you there was a lot more snow then.

Wait till this winter - it's going to be one for the books according to the weather office, the farmer's almanac and the fuzzy caterpillars. You'll have all the snow you want.

yep. it is definitely much warmer here. Although people still find it in their heart to b*tch if it rains one day. It's ridiculous.
