how much benadryl for dogs?
can anyone tell me (for certain) how many benadryl pills to give a 65 lb dog? I know she can take 1 but i'm thinking 2 would be ok. thanks for your help

1 to 2 mg per pound of body weight, never to exceed 4mg per pound. Start with two 25mg tablets and go from there. I'd personally never go over the 2 mg per pound dosage.

You can give them up to 4 original benadryl tablets.
My dog had an ear infection a couple weeks ago and the vet told us this.
EDIT: She weighs 55lbs btw.

My vet said an adult dose. The box says an adult can take 1 or 2, so I gave my dog two. He was fine.

someone just answered that for me because my dogs allergic to bee stings. he said 1 capsule every 28 pounds. i wouldnt go more than 2
