Graphics problem with civ v ?

So here`s the deal - I downloaded the game from file sharing site to see if it is any good before shedding my money for it (that goes to say that, please, don`t suggest buying the game as solution). I think my laptop meets system requirements (it`s ADM Athlon X2 Dual core QL-60 1.9 GHz, 4 GB RAM ad ATI 3200 HD graphics card), however it seems there is some kind of problem with graphics - when I run the game it shows green screen instead of cut scenes (sound can be still heard, but I can`t seem to find a way to skip them), fog of war is displayed as box (i.e.revealed titles appear to be walled in) and the game crashes after playing few turns. So can this be fixed or am I doomed to play civ iv forever ?
