There are some websites you can upload stuff for sale to. Most of these are based in US and they require you to fill out this tax form before you can get any money from them. However neither websites, nor the form say for what aim exactly it is used. I am citizen and resident of totally different country, so I am not familiar with American tax system and unsure what exactly does this mean - do website owners take whatever tax applies from my earnings and pay to US or they don't take any taxes from me and I should pay taxes to my country? Also would IRS notify my country about this form so they know they should tax me? Plus on line 10 in form it talks about special rates and conditions that might apply based on treaty between US and my country - how do I know?

So I was playing around with genealogy options on Wolfram|Alpha. I started to wonder how it calculates particular blood relationship. It makes sense that one has inherited 1 part of blood from each of their grandparents. Each person had 4 grandparents, so blood relationship to one grandparent is 1/4. For two people there would be 8 grandparents, so one of them would be 1/8 Cousins have two grandparents in common so that makes six different people, that would make one grandparent 1/6. I can imagine that since there are two common grandparents their share of blood is expresed as 2, so 1/16 probably comes from 2*8, but I don't really understand why they would express it like that - why not 2/8 and why would they treat common relatives as different people

I have two gmail accounts, one of which I designed specifically for the purpose of hiding my identity. Since I don't get e-mails to that account often, I redirected it to my main account. Now I just noticed that in e-mails sent from this account it says next to my nickname that e-mail was sent from the main account. Also in account options there is no option to set what name is used in e-mails (it should just use a nickname in this account instead of my real name as in the other account). I noticed that there is option to show original for the email, which shows some technical info by winch it seems that my name and real e-mail still might be hidden i.e.:

I know it as Joker, but I want to find more information it (like at least Wikipedia article), but I get nothing. I think standard rules is: You play with 52 cards plus jokers which are wild cards. Every player gets 12 cards. Then cards are assigned values - 2-10 are worth their face values, J, Q, K are 10 points and Ace is 15 points. You need to make combinations from the cards, which need to consist of at least of three cards and be either of the same kind or sequence from the same suit. To make first move you need to have combinations worth at least 42 points. Players place combinations on the table and, after first move has been made, you can make move by making new combinations or adding to combinations on the table. If you cannot make a move you pick up a card from the deck. The aim is to be the first to get rid of cards you're holding.

Since I was like 13 my heart sometimes starts to beat very rapidly (in beginning I can't even feel individual heart beats) and I get this nasty feeling in neck that makes me want to cough at first and then there's just sort of thighness around throat and in upper side of chest.

Usually passes when I sit or lay down. Except this one time in my teens it started when we were playing dodgeball at school in hot sun, I tried standing still, but it didn't help and so much blood rushed to my eyes that I could barely see, luckily teacher came up to me and led me to shade.

After that I went to my family doctor, who just suggested I avoid physical activity. Around that time I read somewhere that growth spurts can cause such problems, because cardiovascular system can't keep up with the rest of the body. Plus it hasn't ever been a regular thing - happens like twice a year. So fair enough reason not to worry. Except since then I've had this happen even when I haven't had any exercise and for no obvious reason.

Basically the thing is that I am almost 25, I figure that if it was just growth thing it should have sorted itself out by now, but it happened again few months ago, so I've been doing research online at times when I have nothing better to do. Can't find anything like this. My main concern is that since I don't know what causes it I am somewhat scared to exercise.

So basicly back of my left hand hurts around the wrist for no reason and I am not sure, if I should go and have it examined. I first noticed it yesterday when I tried to support myself on it, but it felt like something was allready wrong. It is not like it hurts all the time, just when I bend it forward or push on it (makes getting up a bit complicated). It feels tender otherwise. I asked my mom about it and she observed it looks inflamed and feels hotter than the other hand. Any ideas what could be the cause?

Some time ago my mom bought a motion sensor that nobody knows to install. Now it has three wires - blue, brown and black. I was just doing research on differences between different phase electrical powers - Wikipedia says that with three phases you got brown, black, gray and blue wires. What should I make out of this - is the device meant for three phase power or for some weird two phase set up (given that there is no gray wire)?

My mom loves this breed, so I am entertaining the possibility of getting her one. I am, however, concerned that they are black. When I was little we had a small black mutt and a black cat and they both bleached to brown in sun. Would the same thing happen with Scottish terrier?

I got tryout rigid lenses a week ago. They are uncomfortable and keep slipping off my cornea. It kind of seems that they are good only for looking straight forward (one of the reasons I got them in the first place was to be able to look sideways and still have correction) - when I try to turn my eyes they start to get uncomfortable and when I really try to take a good look at something they slip. I guess it might be that they get caught on my eyelids and lose adhesion. Is it possible these tryout lenses are any different from the (horridly expensive) real deal? Are soft lenses more adhesive?

So I got rigid contacts for trying out they often slip off my cornea and go somewhere else (or worse even - today it just fell out of my eye). Is this something I should expect or is something wrong?

I am confused. I have congenital astigmatism, myopia and nystagmus. Every time I go to get a prescription they say my myopia is getting worse. When they got to -4D I started feeling that my eyes get tired from those glasses and stopped using them at home. I didn't go to doctor for like ten years (because I went to pediatric oftolmologist before that and didn't feel like investing time in finding someone who treats adults), but I want contacts now. So I picked up my butt and got them saying that I have -11D in worst eye, but I can use -7D and probably can't use contacts because my eyes are moving to much.

Now on the other hand - I get worried during eye exams, plus I was worried even more because it's been long time and my eyes start moving more, but they wouldn't let me turn my head so that they would stop. So basicly I berely could make out third line on the chart, plus I noticed that I have dificulty figuring out what letters I see when they are far away, although I see the shape just fine.

So now I am confused as to what to do. I do need some vision correction and it is high time to get contacts or new glasses, but as the current glasses allready hurt my eyes, I am afraid that they are misdiagnosing me and it will just screw up my eyes. I find it very hard to believe that I could do without glases with myopia that bad. So does it sound normal for such conditions or is there a chance that I am getting misdiagnosed?

I can`t find an exact definition. I have to write essay on how recent innovations in information technology could impact democratic process and if they do, my idea is to divide it in sections by different parts of democratic process (because ways people adapt technology might differ from ways government does) and I want to be sure I cover the whole process, hence the question

I have a homework which involves inventing new cat food brand. It is not that I can`t come up with anything on my own, it`s just that maybe there are cats with food preferences that I have never thought about. So, food-wise, is there anything you have ever wished you could buy for your cat ?

So here`s the deal - I downloaded the game from file sharing site to see if it is any good before shedding my money for it (that goes to say that, please, don`t suggest buying the game as solution). I think my laptop meets system requirements (it`s ADM Athlon X2 Dual core QL-60 1.9 GHz, 4 GB RAM ad ATI 3200 HD graphics card), however it seems there is some kind of problem with graphics - when I run the game it shows green screen instead of cut scenes (sound can be still heard, but I can`t seem to find a way to skip them), fog of war is displayed as box (i.e.revealed titles appear to be walled in) and the game crashes after playing few turns. So can this be fixed or am I doomed to play civ iv forever ?

I got my mother this plant for her name day because I liked the color, I didn't really bother doing research before and now I am beginning to question this move. For one we found conflicting information on how big it can grow (according to Google apparently normally these species are up to 5 meters tall, but this is dwarf variety and I found it is up to 5 feet, my mom however found piece of information saying it is just 70 centimeters tall... now it is about 30 centimeters i.e. one foot), I also noted that it is slow growing so I wonder how soon it will reach maximum size and to make me even more confused it says "balcony" (without explaining what it is supposed to mean) on the pot, so I wonder if it is safe to plant it in garden or it will freeze in winter (we live in Northern Europe and even thought most recent winters have been warm and snow less, temperatures can go down to as much as -20C, though normally when there is snow it is around -5 to -10C)

Here's a thing - I've heard some European countries have free higher education, but I can't find any place where all these countries would be listed. I am quite certain that Nordic countries have this, also heard that Germany has ridiculously low fees and I was once told that EU citizens can get free education in UK (which strangely doesn't always apply to UK citizens). Any other country to add to this list ?

I've got a school assignment to make marketing plan for new brand of bottled water. I made a quick calculation that if we would have market share of 1% we should make 730000 water bottles (that's 0.5l pet bottles) per year. I found some data to figure out what would be variable costs, but I cannot find anything about fixed costs. So perhaps someone can give me rough idea what it would cost to run plant with that kind of output ?

I got a year old hp laptop, I mostly have it plug in, it has this annoying habit of randomly switching to battery, this thing has been going on for some time, but it has been going worse lately - in the beginning it seemed that turning the plug in slot where it connects with laptop helps, but then it suddenly didn't help, so I figured that charging wire probably is broken somewhere and tried to locate damage in wire and it seemed that the damage is around transformer, but next time neither trick helped, so I'm unsure the problem is in broken wire - it seems to connect back completely randomly, even when I'm not touching wire and am not moving (so I can't be accidentally connecting it back). Sure the easiest way to check would be to buy new charger, but I went to PC shop an found out that new charger is rather expensive, I don't want to shell my money for thing that won't solve anything. So I wonder if anything else can cause this ?
