What are Martin Luther King, Jr.'s weaknesses, and what are Gandhi's strengths and weaknesses?

MLK jr. being "too trusting" of others, believing and relying on others, or unreasonable expectations.

He had many of the same strengths as Gandhi, - the belief and conviction for justice and the importance to stand up to injustice in a peaceful non-violent manner. MLK was educated and spoke eloquently which attracted many to listen to him and his message.

The are both alike in that the did not choose to be famous, King did not set out to be a leader of the Civil Rights movement. Gandhi learn from other scholars, and King did too, and especially used Gandhi methods of protest, march and boycott in a non-violent way.

I don't really know what you mean bey weakness, as MLK had his faults, as all human beings do. Gandhi too. There are more similarities than differences between them in the sense of having a profound effect on civil and equal rights with out using violence, yet they were both killed (violence) because they each spoke up against the system of oppression.

Perhaps "ideology" could be considered a weakness. Though each said they were not afraid to die for their causes. - again the irony each stood for peace and equality, but both were killed by violence.

I guess the weakness that is part gossip but true in part, is he did cheat on his wife. But, that only means he was human, and not above temptations. Gandhi may have been a bit more disciplined, in that respect mainly from his culture - the same for the weakness in MLK's culture.
