What are the chances?

What are the chances of having non-stop to weekly work as an extra/actor for films/tv/commercials in LA? Paid I mean.

I'm not in SAG nor have I gotten any vouchers.

Also how many episodes are filmed per show every week?

Eh, Esther doesn't quiet have it. It's one in a million to be FAMOUS. To just make a living, now that's possible. But you will have to get a great agent, go on constant auditions, possibly get an IMDb because casting directors sometimes look for faces on there. How many episodes per week? Usually just one. It takes a while, buddy. Can't do it all at once.

What have you done? Who thinks you're good? If that's, "My kindergarten pageant" and "My parents", I suggest you may want to build up a resume. And perform for a director you respect and get an opinion from a pro.

I've been acting for 20 years and have received some remarkable reviews, with suggestions from lots of folks to "go to Hollywood" or "you should be on Broadway". But I know how hard it is to break in, and unless you have someone to support you, financially and emotionally, (rejection is tough to take!), you stand a small chance of success. Note I said "small", because there are people who make it. I'd like to hope you could be one of them. Good luck.
