How do I enable CD/DVD writer?
I was trying to "burn" some pictures to a CD/DVD and was having no luck so I went to Microsoft Fix-It and they scanned my computer and the response was that my driver was "not capable of burning (TSSTcorp CDW/DVD T... Detected"
Answer: Install a CD/DVD Writer with the word "Succeeded" after it. I am hoping that means they installed a CD/DVD writer for me. Now all I need to know is how to enable it (I think). Can anyone out there help me?

the first question that needs to get answered is whether your system has an actual physical CD or DVD writer installed (which is it - a CD writer or a DVD writer? a CD writer cannot write DVD's, but most DVD writers should be able to write CD's).
so assuming you have an actual/physical drive installed, then you need to install the correct driver for that device. if you don't have a driver, check out the box your drive came with - it should have the disk with the driver. or just search the web for the most current driver of your drive model. devices may not work totally or at all when it has no or improper driver installed.
i am a bit confused on your answer description above though - your support person cannot install a drive for you... he/she can only try and install a working driver or enable the drive if that has already been done.... can you give more specifics regarding your system?
