It's not the piercing that makes people appear slutty, it's how many guys they've slept with without charge. A piercing is just a piercing, some girls that have it are "slutty" and make the piercing appear this way, while other girls, such as myself, have navel piercing(s) when some of us have been in committed relationships and are picky about who we sleep with.

It all depends on who you are and how you wear the piercing that can make it appear to others as "slutty". Again, no piercing can be slutty as no piercing can be gay-- just be confident and don't let anyone put you down if you have a piercing that society views as "slutty" or "gay".

Now, about your age, you're too young to get a navel piercing. Realize your body is still growing and by the time you're 18 the piercing most likely will reject, and you also need to realize that a navel piercing takes 6-12 months to completely heal and ask yourself if you're ready for that responsibility.

Wait two more years, until you're 16-- most parlors won't pierce anyone under the age of 16 even if they have parental consent, and if you really want the piercing, i promise you it's well worth the wait.

You'll need parental consent and they aren't really worth the trouble...they tend to reject especially if you are still growing
