Here are some suggestions :
* Run a thorough scan on your player using whatever antivirus you have on your computer ( I assum you can see the player as a portable drive once you hooking it up? most antivirus softwares gives you the option to choose a specific part to scan).
I recommend AVAST.
* Drain the battery completely - just leave it open and playing music until it runs out (and than turn it on again and play some more music because you need to drain it COMPLETELY, you may need to do it a few times).
If it has a on/off toggle (not the daily power on/off button, a more hidden switch) - switch it offf - and that on again.
* Go online and run a google search with the player's info - you might come across other people with the same problem, some of them might got it solved.
Good Luck !
