Is my teacher patronizing?

Once uponb a time when I first came to high school in yr 9 a teacher assistant went up to me and asked "Where does your mummy work?" do you think that is patronzing.

    No. Some cultures use "mummy" instead of "mom" or "mother."

    Pass it off. LIfe is too short to worry about it.
