How do you remove HP Total Care Advisor from a Vista machine?
On my friend's Compaq Vista laptop, she constantly gets pop-up messages informing her that HP Total Care Advisor has stopped working. Can I get rid of this software the next time I get my hands on her computer? Is there any horrible danger to doing so?
Thanks for your answers, people! I could find no Add-And-Remove-Programs control panel. Is this now called "Programs and Features" in Vista?

Start button, control panel, programs and features and uninstall it. While you are in there, get rid of all the other junk like it that she doesn't need and will never use. It will only help her machine run better and have more storage space.

If you type in the search 'Programs and features' click it find the HP Total Care Adviser on the menu and click uninstall. Hopefully that should delete the program. It's very annoying I know
