How do we "hate the sin but love the sinner"?
We are made up of mind, body, and spirit. If the mind, body, and spirit of a person are all consumed with evil, how are we supposed to love someone like that? As Christians, we are against evil... so how does this all work?

Hate the sin, but do not hate them for the decision they make that would lead to sin. Be understanding and know that we all make wrong choices.

We should hate sin, which will make us acceptable vessels to carry good fruits of God. A sinner is he who is ignorant of the preciousness of life. A sinner does not recognize that sinning is ruining his own life while it also is ruining the lives of others as well. We should realize that every sinner is a human being who is very special to God. It is our responsibility on earth to try to get such people out of their sinful habits in order to enjoy real peace and happiness. Sin always brings sorrows and troubles. Only if a person becomes enlightened, he will realize the dreadful side of sins. Thus, by hating sins, he can walk into life while we can be happy that we have saved at least one soul.

Read the Book of Jude, for an insight into your valid question, then if you still have questions ask God for wisdom, for He will give it liberally..James 1:5
For example...homosexuality is one such situation, where you would hate the sin but love the sinner.
You would follow the example of Jesus Christ and love with compassion, those whom the Father puts across your path, as it were. For God is love and we too must follow Him.
The sin of homosexuality is an abomination ie a filth before our Holy God, our Creator. yet the people themselves, Jesus loves, for they know not what they do and the eternal implications of their actions.
I hope this makes sense in the broader view of your question ?
It is not about 'pointing fingers' but being obedient and honest before our King.
Some very revealing scriptures as follows:..

Don't believe your preacher, teacher, pastor or evangalist. That doctrine is totally farcical. You can hate with a righteous hatred. Yahweh hates and punishes with a vengeance. The enemies of God were to be put to death by the Israelites and failed to utterly destroy them. Yahweh God helped them along the way from time to time and actually killed some 2 million of Israels enemies as recorded in the Bible. Even Jesus told his disciples to buy a sword (or two) when it was illegal to do so under Roman rule. He didn't expect them to be using them to slice tomatoes! Tolerance and forgiveness is the bane of America and the Western nations. Tolerance is killing our faith, our culture and our nation. Forgiveness is only to be given to a "brother or sister" in the faith and only then if they ask for it. The idea and notion that you forgive out of hand just anyone who murders, harms, steals and commits other damaging affronts is not scriptural and is only a prideful act on the forgiver.

Some people struggle in life and make mistakes. Some sins can be forgiven, in my opinion, but some cannot.
