Why does my internet keep crashing?
I recently joined talk talk and my internet keeps displaying 'Internet Explorer has stopped working' , giving me only two 'options' which of course aren't options at all. Close the programme, or search online for a solution. It happens mainly when I try and log in to my hotmail account.
Does anyone else have this problem and if so should I leave talk talk while I'm still on the 30 day trial??? Is it completely my broadband providers fault or could it be a virus???

Yeah for the sake of an extra £5 a month you need to change to BT, 10GIG per month, free evening and weekend calls.
Talk Talk charge a fortune for for calls too, their download speed is slow, you will have no end of problems because they only rent or have bought a very small percentage of the bandwidth from BT.
It will cost you a lot more in the future with Talk Talk.
I had no internet for a month whilst on talk talk they never even told us what the problem was, nor did the automated response tell us when the problem would be fixed.
They are a bunch of agressive apathetic immoral subsidiary scampster middle men just like phones 4 you.
Get rid while you can, it will end up costing you a lot more than an extra £5 per month.

I've had a similar experience with a friend using talk talk and getting very poor bandwidth, so yes I'd cancel while you still can.
I don't believe that's your issue though, and I'd recommend trying Firefox or Chrome as it sounds more like an issue with your software than any external factors.
@MapleKingdom: Not sure you understand the question - how can a computer display 'Internet Explorer has stopped working' if the power has disconnected and PC powered down?

Reset the Internet Settings, by following these steps:
a. Go to Start > Control Panel > choose to see Small Icons from the top-left drop-down menu.
b. Choose Internet Options:
- Security tab > reset security zones to default
- Connections tab> LAN settings > Automatically detect settings (only if you do not have a proxy server) > ok
- Advanced tab > Reset advanced settings
This will make your internet work, but you really should check for infections, because that is the most common sympthom for an infection (the change of your internet settings).

I seriously wouldn't bother with talktalk. My internet is slow. My download speed is like 20kb/s. We're switching soon to BT. TalkTalk might be cheaper, but not worth it IMO

Check your power plug. It's a common thing.... the plug is a little bit from falling down so it keeps power on, but when it moves a little bit it shuts off everything its plugged to.
So check that and if its not the case i don't know sorry :P

It might just be internet explorer because I used to have the same problem before I switched to firefox.
