Christians: From which book did the Devil quoted the Bible when he said these:?

Matthew 4:6 ……For it is written: 'He will command his angels concerning you and 'with their hands they will support you, lest you dash your foot against a stone.'"

Was the prophesy ever fulfilled?

This is taken by the devil "OUT OF CONTEXT" and its found in Psalms 91 and to keep these verses in context start at verse one, never did God intend to have mankind put himself or herself in danger Then ask God 'if you love me you will not allow me to dash my foot against the stones' the devil misquoted these verses on purpose. The verse in question however is in Psalm 91:11 but again it reads also "in all thy ways" that is to say in the ways God leads and the devil left that part out. It is not in the bible.

As a child, I was taught that it meant that it was written in heaven.
