Ford Mustang 2001 mach 460 stereo?
I am trying to install an aftermarket deck in my 2001 mustang. It has the mach 460 sound system. I realize there is a wiring harness adapter available which would make life very easy, however in my impatience to find the right adapter i cut the clip that powers the amps and rear and door panel speakers. I know that i need to wire in some RCA jacks and things but I need the help of a stereo genius to tell me which wires need to go where and which ones need the RCA jacks or a website that can explain this to me, ie not a blog that says to buy the adapter. Thanks :)

Did you throw away the plugs you cut off? If not, you could always go buy the adapter harness, then use it as a guide to match up the factory wire colors to the colors in the harness.
Otherwise, here's what I can find:
Constant power: violet/blue
Accessory power: black/pink
Ground: black/green (2 wires)
Front and rear speakers: these are the wires for the tweeters in the front and rear. They're powered directly from the head unit. It helps if your deck has a built-in high-pass filter feature, so you can cut the bass out of these speakers; if not, you might want to put bass-blockers or passive crossovers on the speaker wires.
Front left (+): orange/green
Front left (-): light blue/white
Front right (+): white/green
Front right (-): green/orange
Rear left (+): gray/blue
Rear left (-): tan/yellow
Rear right (+): orange/red
Rear right (-): brown/pink
Remote: These need to be connected to the blue/white remote wire from the after-market head unit. If you don't have a blue/white, use solid blue. The remote wire activates the factory amplifiers. There's one for each amp; the colors are green/violet and gray/black. The amplifiers drive the 6x8" woofers in the front and rear. If, when you finish, you have a loud turn-on pop from the woofers, then try wiring a 1500-ohm resistor between the deck's remote wire and the vehicle remote wires.
Amplifier signal wires: These need to be connected to RCA plugs. Connect the positive wire to the center pin conductor, and the negative to the outer shield conductor.
Front amp: brown/orange (+), red/black (-)
Rear amp: light green/black(+), light blue/red (-)
Your RCA plugs should be connected to the new head unit's subwoofer output jacks. If you don't have a sub output, use a front or rear output; but sound quality will suffer.

dumb dumb dumb..you just made a lot more work than what you needed...you have to bypass the amps now.
where the rear speakers are, they should be in a black case taking up the whole top of the trunk under the back deck..climb in your trunk with a light, wire strippers, and a 9v battery. there should be 4 wires coming out of the black case holding the speakers, those are the ones you need to tap to, i cant remember the wire colors off the top of my head but test them by stripping back the wire and putting the 9v battery on it to pop em..ive only done the rear speakers in this...but there are 2 amps, they should be on each side of the black enclosure.
