What should be the Hero Honda Splendor bike 2002 average should be? It deliver just arund 30Km per liter.?
I want to repair to give more mileage. so what is the major part to change or to repair. The average deliver is just around 30Km on half city and half highway traffic. Hope for your kind genuine answer. Thank you in advance for sincere answer.

How many KM has it done? Sometimes it is time to do the engine overhaul.Give it to ASC of Hero honda to check the real probelm behind it.
30kmpl is too low for a 100cc bike.

I have 2001 splendor ;staying in a traffic city - Bangalore ;it gives an average of 48 to 52 in city easily.
previously tried long distance especially in highway or congestion less road gives a decent 55+
Check your bike with some authorised hero honda service centre and explain the issues clearly and ask for proper details on service and repair it.

You must be able to get 45 to 55 kmpl in the kind of driving you are describing when new.
Even with a old bike like yours you may be expect up to 40 kmpl.
generally when someone is complaining on mileage a mechanic checks the compression and ensures that it is optimal. Secondly he would attempt a leaner mixture. Anything beyond this is expensive and commercially not advisable to do.
