Is there a difference between kidnapping and enforced disappearence?

...or is enforced disappearence just the politically used term for kidnapping?

There's no such thing as "enforced disappearance." Governments might euphemistically say that somebody has disappeared when they're executed or jailed illegally but it's usually with a wink and a chuckle. "Oh, you're looking for Jose? Umm...he's...umm...disappeared...yeah, that's it."

i think the difference will by from state to state but lets say

you go out and take someones child ... you have kidnapped them

but lets say you have full custody of your children but your xhusand goes to school and takes them.
