RAF Regiment Training?

I was just wondering if RAF gunners are taught hand to hand combat etc..

No they are not, and neither are any conventional British Forces with the exception of the Royal Marines. You will undergo bayonet training as a recruit but this is worlds away from proper unarmed combat.
