Get the new slim.. it has a 250gb hard drive and its slimmer, sensitive buttons. has wifi already its pretty cool And it cost's $299 i own one and i like it and also it doesnt give you the 3 red lights!

A good priced one is a Pro, but they have been discontinued, so you could try EBay. A pro should get you most of your needs-games, music, movies, etc.
