Randy Orton Tweets on Last Night’s iMPACT!

Current WWE wrestler Randy Orton had a variety of comments regarding last night’s episode of iMPACT! Here are some of the highlights from his recent tweets regarding the episode:

Samoa Joe can move. Miss working with (Kurt) Angle and Jeff. Coulda done w/o the JWoW segment tho

I enjoyed the backstage stuff for the most part anyway. Something about the realness of the conversations between some of the talent was really well done.

Who said that I do not like TNA? I surely didn’t. Never approved of the 8(sic) sided ring tho. Competition is a good thing.

[AJ Styles can] do some amazing things in the ring

The only prob I ever had with Ken [Anderson] was him telling the Internet that I used my ‘pull’ to get him fired. Not tru, I have no pull

I'm not surprised. Many known WWE stars do like what TNA do at times. Austin, JR do like what TNA do. The low card of WWE like what TNA do so I'm not surprised whether they'd be in the Main Event or not

I have to agree on Orton with the backstage realness of the promos, they can overdo this thing with ReAction but it does seem very real and very well done, sometimes, the camera can be very shaky but it's a cool thing to watch

I'm not all that surprised. I strongly dislike TNA, because I feel like it will never be in the same league as the WWE, but I give it a shot occasionally. I bet you Randy Orton isn't the only WWE Superstar that watches TNA every once in a while, he's just one of the only ones who will admit it. You have to check out your competition from time to time in my book. And he did say that this is only the second time ever that he's watched it...

Absolutely not surprised. Randy is smart to keep doors open, and give himself an out, should things ever go sour with WWE. And let's be honest- TNA isn't tough competition for the WWE, but it is at least making the writers keep it honest, and work harder. After TNA burst out with their new attitude, it made the WWE storylines better, agreed?

WWE fans would be shocked to know this but YES, MANY WWE stars past and present watch and like TNA Wrestling. Just like many TNA stars watch WWE shows.

    They support the industry.

Austin has said many times he really enjoys watching TNA. JR has praises TNA many times. Jericho is a HUGE TNA fan and often teases his fans about it with comments. Jericho is already in talks with TNA now and may very well join TNA after his tour in 2011.

Theres a huge difference between endorsing and praising. He praised TNA. And no I'm not surprised. Sure it came out f the blue, but Orton is a smart guy who always knows what hes talking about.

@Red Sexy Cerebral Phenom. The guy asking this question only put what Orton said. He talked about Kennedy because he was asked about him.

There's a few WWE alumni that support TNA and competition. Austin and Y2J come to mind.

RSCP, Orton was actually asked by a fan about Mr Kennedy, so I think it's you that needs to "stfu". I went on his Twitter and the tweet about Kennedy came in reply to a fan asking him about the incident.

Well maybe you should check before jumping to conclusions. Typical hater. It's people like you that make the IWC a laughing stock to the casual fans. Do everyone a favour and STFU, because I actually check these things out for people like you, who have nothing better to do than hate.

No, because TNA has talent and hopefully a future. It's great to see all the wrestlers I grew up watching back at it!

it would desire to be awsome to be certain the two of the two in tna effect!! after this variety of great form of years of slavery they try against with a number of all time greats like sting different than the wrestlers who moved to tna from wwe.

  • 1 decade ago

yes he does say some nice things about tna but

what has been failed to be written here is that that is the second time randy has watched tna
