iPod touch internal sound problem?

I've been experiencing a problem for the past week and a half or so. The problem is that whenever I move the iPod around (in my pocket for instance) the sound cuts out. This also happens when I touch the base of the earbuds. I know it isn't a problem with the earbuds, because I just had them replaced the day after I started experiencing the problem.

If it makes any difference, I just recently downloaded a software update on my iPod touch.

Also, please don't tell me to call apple. I can figure that much out on my own.

    the software u downloaded probably had a bug or something.

    have been given right here approximately to my cousins ipod touch it stayed like that for some days in spite of the reality that it is going to pass back to accepted i dont noe why besides the reality that its possibly a glitch and if some days is going by potential of employing and its no longer wrking, touch an the apple customer care or grant it to an apple save
