I am interested in hosting a website. Any suggestions?

I think I have a good idea for a website and would like someones input on what sites are good for site building software at a reasonable price.I am hoping to draw a lot of traffic but it would be kind of a wait and see thing. I have used Hostway in the past and are not crazy about their design options. I am not savvy enough to use Frontpage, although I plan on studying it for future use. A site that is user friendly and can hold moderate traffic would be ideal.

Before buying a web host compare the top!! I like HostPapa because I like their SiteBuilder tools. I found a good site for you if you want to compare the top providers. Also you can find hosting coupons!

I recommend one of these: http://www.top3hosts.com/

iPage has the best offer right now.

Their standard price is $84/year ($6.95) but they have

a 50% sale, one year of hosting for $42.00.

    Their plan includes:

    Unlimited disk space

    Unlimited bandwidth

    Free domain name

    Price: $42/year ($3.50)

They have one of the most popular hosting platforms, which currently hosts over a million websites. They're also one of the oldest hosting companies, founded in 1998.

They include a free point & click online site builder so you can create a website without any programming (easily, just by drag and drop) or you could install Wordpress (they include easy, one click install from their control panel), choose a theme that you like, and start adding content.

They also have a great custom control panel with OneClick installs of all the popular software like Wordpress, Joomla, Forums, Chat, Galleries, Online stores and a lot more.

I really like GoDaddy.com. They are easy to use and unlike some of the hosting providers I have used before, all the information is right there in front of you. Customer support responds to questions in a timely manner.

Also, I would suggest using Wordpress. There are literally thousands of no to low cost themes on Wordpress for virtually any type of website need. These pre-built themes often times require little to no knowledge of html, php, css, etc. Plus if you go with GoDaddy, you can get a Wordpress hosting plan at the normal cost and it will install Wordpress basically automatically for you.

Thousands of people are running Wordpress and it's a free CMS (content Management System) that is very easy to use and understand after some time playing around with it.

Media Temple has a pair top profile customers. They have pleasant web hosting plans. when you particularly wish well web hosting, significant-scale, well help, now not at your residence, media temple is the excellent you'll be able to get. They are a bit steeply-priced, however when you wish well web hosting, it WILL price you alot. Perhaps you will have to recall shopping your possess servers, less expensive ultimately (most commonly.)
