Have you watched a movie you normally wouldn't see because of an actor/actress you like is in it?

This has happened to me a lot but more recently I'm totally into Brad Dourif right now and I had no intention of seeing Lord of the Rings in my near future, but since he's in it, I think I'll give it a gander.

Update:

Yes, yes he is.

Yes, with most of my top actors I'll do that. Like with Sam Rockwell, I watched The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy when before I didn't plan to. A while ago I watched Tenderness because Jon Foster was in it and The Stone of Destiny for Charlie Cox. Next I want to see John Turturro in Transformers, even though I'm really not interested in that series, and I'm going to watch a bunch of older corny movies for Chevy Chase and Dana Carvey

Since you are into Brad take a look at a B movie made years ago called

    Death Machine (1994)

Chaank Armaments is experimenting with the ultimate fighting machine which is part human - part machine. So far, the Hardman project has been unreliable and has killed a number of innocent people. The genius behind this project is Jack who lives in a world of models, toys and magazines. When he is fired by Cale for killing a few corporate officers... all hell breaks loose. Brad of course plays the genius with the jones for the lead female character. Good stuff. And to answer your question...yes. Lots of times. My fav actress is CCH Pounder (Claudette from the Shield) and I will pretty much watch her in anything she does.

Brad Dourif is a badass. Well playing Chucky lol. But the remake of Child's play is coming out this month. It shouldn't be that bad. Because Brad is still doing the voice over.

Yes, I do that quite often actually.. I could give you a long list of movies but I'd be sitting here for hours, so.. What I do is, when I like an actor or a director I feel like I have to watch everything they've done in their career. I've stumbled across some fantastic films through that!

Yes, I've done this a lot with Ewan McGregor. I never intended on seeing half the movies he's made but after seeing his performances in Star Wars and Moulin Rouge I had to look up more movies he's done and watch them. They turned out to be quite good, actually. I haven't yet seen The Ghost Writer but in I Love You Phillip Morris he did great.

I wouldn't watch "The Scorpion King" with a ten inch pole but I LOVE Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson it's also the same with "Tooth Fairy" and "The Game Plan" and "Walking Tall".

Taylor Lautner in "Cheaper By The Dozen 2"

    Paul Walker in "RoadKill"

Matthew Perry in "Three To Tango"

    Kirsten Stewart in "Panic Room"

    Beyonce in "Dream Girls"

I saw Machete only because De Niro was in it, I would've never seen it otherwise.

And I would've never watched Dick Tracy if Pacino wasn't in it

that's all I can think of right now

I watched Sweeney Todd because Johnny Depp was in it. I don't like musicals, so I never in a million years would have watched that had he not been in it. I still didn't really like it...

Yeah..I'm the same way when it comes to Jessica Alba.
