So...I lost my pay stub.?
I was stupid and managed to lose my paycheck stub somewhere. I have direct deposit, so it's not an actual check, but I was just wondering if anything bad could happen if a bad person found it.
It has information like my full name and address, how much I earned, how much was taken out in taxes, the last four letters of my bank account number, my employer's full address, and my year-to-date pay. Across the "check" is printed boldy "THIS IS NOT A CHECK"
So yeah...even though I lost it, can anything really bad happen to me if the wrong person gets their hands on it?

As long as your employer did not print your whole Social Security on it. It would be a disaster.
By law, they have to block all information and except the last 4.
So you will be fine if your employer did block your SSN.
SSN is importtant thing on that check, if they block it, you should be fine.

All of your personal information is on that stub. Not sure what could happen. I lost mine a few years ago and I was lucky enough to have it returned to me in the mail but nothing bad has happened.
