Jesus never claimed that he was God. He always told that he is only a teacher, prophet. Thats also not to dogs, but Prophet ONLY TO JEWS. See Matthew 15:24 and 26.

What the present followers say about this?

Update:

KJV Bible, Isaiya 43:11- “ I, even I, am the Lord ; and beside me there THERE IS NO SAVIOUR “

NIV Bible, Deutronomy 6:4- “Hear, O Israel, The Lord our God, The LORD is ONE”

Mathew 7:21 - Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the

kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Mahew 19:16 - And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

Mathew 19:17 -And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

Update 2:

Matthew 10:5

These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

10 :8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

10:20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Update 3:

As per Mathew 10:20, All 12 Disciples are son of God. they preached, did miracles, as Jesus did.

Jesus also told that the don't want prepare answers, but answers come from God. This is also an act Jesus. He always says, I don't speak on my own and father speaks. These are similarities

1. Jesus and 12 disciples are sons

2. Jesus and 12 disciples did miracles

3. Jesus and 12 disciples didn't speak on their own.

4. Jesus and 12 disciples preached only to Jews.

If so, can we believe that the Trinity as PLURAL Father sons Spirits?

Jesus is never recorded in the Bible as saying the precise words, “I am God.” That does not mean, however, that He did not proclaim that He is God. Take for example Jesus’ words in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one.” We need only to look at the Jews’ reaction to His statement to know He was claiming to be God. They tried to stone Him for this very reason. “… you, a mere man, claim to be God” (John 10:33). The Jews understood exactly what Jesus was claiming—deity. Notice that Jesus does not deny His claim to be God. When Jesus declared, “I and the Father are one” (John 10:30), He was saying that He and the Father are of one nature and essence. John 8:58 is another example. Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, before Abraham was born, I am!” The response of the Jews who heard this statement was to take up stones to kill Him for blasphemy, as the Mosaic Law commanded them to do (Leviticus 24:15).

John reiterates the concept of Jesus’ deity: “the Word was God” and “the Word became flesh” (John 1:1, 14). These verses clearly indicate that Jesus is God in the flesh. Acts 20:28 tells us, “Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.” Who bought the church—the church of God—with His own blood? Jesus Christ. Acts 20:28 declares that God purchased His church with His own blood. Therefore, Jesus is God!

Thomas the disciple declared concerning Jesus, “My Lord and my God” (John 20:28). Jesus does not correct him. Titus 2:13 encourages us to wait for the coming of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ (see also 2 Peter 1:1). In Hebrews 1:8, the Father declares of Jesus, “But about the Son He says, ’Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.’” The Father refers to Jesus as “O God” indicating that Jesus is indeed God.

In Revelation, an angel instructed the apostle John to only worship God (Revelation 19:10). Several times in Scripture Jesus receives worship (Matthew 2:11, 14:33, 28:9, 17; Luke 24:52; John 9:38). He never rebukes people for worshiping Him. If Jesus were not God, He would have told people to not worship Him, just as the angel in Revelation did. There are many other verses and passages of Scripture that argue for Jesus’ deity.

The most important reason that Jesus has to be God is that if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). A created being, which Jesus would be if He were not God, could not pay the infinite penalty required for sin against an infinite God. Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected, proving His victory over sin and death.

Wrong here is what The Lord and The bible says about Him being God:

    The Divinity of Christ

Matt.1:23 Immanuel 'God with us', John 1:1 Word [capital W proper name] [verse 14] Jesus made flesh. John 17:5,24 Jesus existed with The Father before the foundation of this world [see also Hebrews 13:8], John 8:58 Jesus is The I AM of Exodus 3, Moses and the burning bush, Luke 5:20-24 Jesus forgave sins, A act "only" God can do, John 20:28 Thomas testified Jesus Christ as God. Hebrews 1:5-9 The Father Himself address Jesus as God, Isaiah 9:6 this is a Prophecy about The Messiah [Christ] but the 'SAME' names that apply here to The Father apply to Christ as well, Mic.5:2 Christ's going forth has been from everlasting, 1 Timothy 6:15-16 Jesus has Immortality, Rev.1:18 Jesus is the first and the last and the [Only] one with the keys to the [your] grave, Phil. 2:5-12 Jesus voluntarily gave up His divine privilege to become our [your] Saviour. The prophecies of The Messiah include these: Mic. 5:2 Birthplace of Christ Luke 2:1-7 fulfilled in Christ. Isa.7:14 virgin birth Matt.1:23 fulfilled in Christ, Gen.49:8-10 Jesus' lineage through Judah Luke 1:30-32 fulfilled in Christ, Num.24:17 A Star shall rise out of Judah Matt.2:1-2 Fulfilled in Christ, Way to much proof Christ is indeed God, Not only became man [see Isa. 53] but when He returned to Heaven He kept that same body forever because it is by as it says in

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. The person and Power that destroyed sin will keep it from Ever coming back. Free bible lessons www.vop.com

John the baptist, angels, archangels, fathers/saints etc, all reacted when people went to worship them or even glorify them. Why didn't Jesus react to Thomas calling Him God? Wouldn't He tell Thomas "I am not God, never call me that again". But He didn't. Who ever knows Jesus knows the Father. What importance would the crucifixion of a "prophet" have. How could humanity be saved by grace by the death of a teacher/prophet.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Keep reading the new testament. I can understand where you'd get that idea from especially if you were brought up a muslim.

In point of fact Jesus did claim to be God and the Aramaic speaking hearers understood this claim completely.

John 10:30-33 30 I and the Father are one." 31 Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, 32 but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?" 33 "We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God."

Not only did Jesus claim that He is God, but the High Priest had Him crucified because Jesus claimed to be God. Every Jew knows that when you claim to be "I Am" that you are claiming to be God. Any Jew knows that when you claim to be able to forgive sin, that you are claiming to be God.

Jesus said, "I and the Father are One." Jesus said, "If you've seen Me, you've seen the Father."

Oh, Jesus claimed to be God many many times, He even said "before Abraham was, I am." Oh, yes, Jesus claimed to be God. Even Herod knew the long awaited star had appeared to announce the Immanuel (God with us.)Isaiah prophesied it in Isaiah 7:14 NASB Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel. Some have said that the Hebrew word for "virgin" should be simply young woman, but that is not exactly correct since the word means young unmarried woman. God is giving us a sign - a virgin gives birth to a child. If all God is saying is that a sexually active woman gives birth, what kind of sign is that? the conclusion is obvious that tyhe passage is referring to a virgin giving birth as declared in Genesis 3:15. Now, that is the sign, it is a sign of Immanuel - Jesus! "God with us." Here it says that God - Immanuel - owns the land of Israel. Read Isaiah 8:8 It says, "Then it will sweep on into Judah, it will overflow and pass through, it will reach even to the neck; and the spread of its wings will fill the breadth of your land, O Immanuel."

This means that Immanuel lived before He became a human baby. What is the meaning of Immanuel? The Apostle Matthew answers our question in the Gospel of Matthew. "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, " which translated means, "God with us." NASB Matthew1:23 Conclusion is Immanuel means "God with us." That is who Jesus is - our God!

Dogs are those who have no faith, I am a Son of the living God through Christ my Savior.

Jesus did not come to prove he was God nor to prove to you that God exists.

Jesus came to bring you to God through his righteousness.

If you don't believe the words of Christ in the Bible why are you quoting him as if you do?

Read this scripture if you believe the true word of God.

1John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

Jesus very accurately is described as the Son of God. In other words, Jesus is not God as if Jesus is replacing His Father, but Jesus IS God in that His Divine Nature is determined by the Divine Nature of His Father. Thus Jesus is God in that He is co-equal in this one Divine Nature. You and I are 100% human because we are co-equal in ONE human nature in that you have no more of it than I do. The Father, Son (Jesus) and Holy Spirit are each 100% God in that each are co-equal in the ONE Divine Nature.

Many disciples claimed that He was Lord. And He never corrected them. We are only to worship one Lord. Many people bowed down to HIm as well. We are only to bow to one Lord. Many people followed Him. We are only to follow one Lord. He is Lord. He is God.

Though He never came out to say He was God, He did it in a roundabout way. And He never stopped others from claiming that.
