How can I replace the gold colour plating on my warrant card badge (without re-plating)?

Only a little has come off, but I think it ruins the overall sheen of the badge.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Ours are silver, and got a bit chipped when i was in plain clothes.

    I have a jeweller friend and he tells me that the only way is to re-plate it or find a really good chrome service in a car garage shop or similar and touch it up.

    Im not sure thats helpful with gold coloured.

    Visit a local jewellers (some re-place cheaply), and in future, POLISH, and look after it...
