It does not, and such things continue to this day.
Now, some will try to quote 1 Corinthians 13:8 - 10 and claim that it proves such things have passed away. Here is what passage verse says:
1 Cor. 13:8 - 10 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.
Their argument is that since we have the Bible, we no need longer prophecies and such, and thus they passed away.
But if you read THE ENTIRE passage you will realize it is actually saying exactly the OPPOSITE of that.
1 Corinthians 13:8 - 12 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12 Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
Now, when you read the full text, you see that when the perfect comes, you will know FULLY, even as you are FULLY KNOWN (i.e. By Christ). In other words, you will know Christ as well as He knows you. Now, the Bible may be God's full revelation here, but you are not yet CAPABLE of knowing Christ as well as He knows you. But when the perfect comes, not only will you be CAPABLE of knowing Him this well, but you WILL know Him this well.
And that, of course, can only happen when He returns for His Church. So, the very verse that some would use to claim prophecies and visions have passed instead proves that they CANNOT pass away until Christ returns.
Another verse people try to use to claim such things have passed away is Revelation 22:18 - 19
Revelation 22:18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
Of course, they make the claim that anyone speaking a prophecy is adding to the words of this book, but nothing could be further from the truth. This passage tells us that no further SCRIPTURE may be revealed, not that God may not reveal something to you personally. And of course, any purported prophecy must be judged by the words of scripture.
So, there is nothing ... NOTHING ... in scripture that would indicate that visions, miracles, etc ended when the last of the original apostles died.

Mat 10:1, Act 4: 33 and many others where Jesus gave them the powers to do specific things to accomplish His mission. I'm thinking there were no versus saying this would be passed on to anyone. But I do remember being warned about how the Anti Christ, false prophets, and many others would perform miracles even in Christ's name. So everytime someone says they saw a miracle, the first thing I do is wonder if its of God or of the Devil and remember the warning.
I should point out, I do believe they continue, but I believe proper dicernment is required because of these warnings. I find it hard to tolerate those who say the virgin mary's image on a piece of toast or on tree bark justify a miracle. I believe miracles are things that can not possibly be explained or accomplished by man. Is the healing of a man by a doctor a miracle? Not necessarily. Is a healing of a man by Benny Hinn a miracle? Not if you've seen how its done - it would make you sick. All I'm saying is lets give glory to God for true miracles that can not be explained and will hold up under the scrutiny of time. Lets not credit him with cheap tricks of man.

The bible says no such thing but it does say that those who truly believe in Jesus will receive the gifts of God's Holy Spirit and they are active today. Here is what Paul said concerning that in.....
1 Corinthians 12:7-11
7 A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.
8 To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge.
9 The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing.
10 He gives one person the power to perform miracles, and another the ability to prophesy. He gives someone else the ability to discern whether a message is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit. Still another person is given the ability to speak in unknown languages, while another is given the ability to interpret what is being said.
11 It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have.

In honor of Triforce, I will answer this question:
1 corinthians chapter 13 explains that Love will be the identification mark of Christians. You may want to read verse 8 where it says every gifts will cease but Love will never fail.
Triforce you want to read Joel 2:28 my friend. Knowing just one verse won't take you anywhere.=)

In first question means that women have no right to teach over man its because it was written in the new testament in corinthians if never got wrong, In Old testament, first of all GOD made a Man first not a women and the women was came from man's flesh and women was the one who made sin before man, that's why women have no right to be level to man, women are made to be servant of man. Even these two are being married man always on top in woman...that's In teaching of GOD's scripture always men are handling these position..
Time of the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ was unknown even Lord Jesus himself never know when the GOD the father sent him to judge the earth its always the will of the Father..
These are people who are self appointed who pretending that they are GOD's messengers who predict such things by their own will...THEY ARE FALSE PROPHET.
Being faithful of christ that dedicate his self by giving up anything(earthling materials) and serve GOD the FATHER and Lord Jesus was giving him more honor, just like apostle paul.

The signs, miracles, and wonders that were experienced by Israel accompanied the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ to Israel. They were signs strictly for unbelieving Israel, so that they would see, and believe that the Lord Jesus was Messiah and the Son of the living God. They began when the Lord Jesus began His ministry to Israel, and continued through the ministry of the "little flock", which were the believing remnant of Israel that was faithful to God, and showed the obedience of faith, until the end of the Acts period, when God concluded Israel in sin and unbelief along with other nations, and cast Israel aside. These miraculous signs were a fulfillment of prophecy, as Israel was always the "sign nation", refusing to believe God, unless they were given a sign from heaven.
Once God cast Israel aside, there was no reason for these signs, because Israel had been concluded in UNBELIEF.
Your error is where you believe the following to refer to the return of Christ. This is incorrect, for if you look up the usage of the word "perfect" here, in the Strong's concordance, it means "complete". When considering the rest of the context is about what we know (from God), along with the fact that Paul was given the revelation of the mystery to complete God's word, it makes perfect sense that these verses refer to the completed word of God, and not the return of Christ. If it referred to that, it would plainly tell us "when HE which is perfect" has come.
8"Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 "For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 "But when that which is perfect (complete) is come (the completed word of God), then that which is in part shall be done away." (1 Corin. 13:8-10)
It was the epistles of the apostle Paul which completed the scriptures, and closed out progressive revelation from God.
