Minton china pattern Wildlife, Boar deer bison etc?
I have inherited some Minton ? plates which have wildlife scenes on them. The edge is mossy green with a gold filagree. Can any one give me the pattern name or number? Did Minton ever use a mark with the first "n" upside down? Makes it look like "Miuton" maybe some type of knock off? These dishes are quite old as my grandmother had them back in the 40's-50's

You gotta love the internet! I found a website showing all the markings Minton has used: http://antiques.about.com/gi/o.htm?zi=1/XJ&zTi=1&s...
I found a site for identifying pattern names of old Minton: http://www.chinadetectives.co.uk/minton.htm , but it appears to have broken links.

Bison are unlike farm animals (which do make stable pets) in that they are seen wild and unsafe animals. that doesn't mean you may not stumble on the assumption of a bison as a puppy. yet you may could do a good form of learn as to their desires insofar as pens/pasture, preserve, feed, etc. additionally, you may probable seem not basically into zoning - which could be akin to possessing a cow or horse - yet in addition particular flowers and fauna enables. i might propose you touch your state and federal departments of organic components and the interior. Plus, once you're a member of one of the 1st international locations tribes there could be significant non secular/cultural implications surrounding conserving a bison as a puppy. verify that out too. ultimately, touch your community Zoo. i might wager which you will "undertake" a bison - meaning you donate $$ in direction of its maintenance - which might entitle you to call that distinctive bison "your puppy."
