@God boy: so where could the word "Judaism" have come from? if not from your scriptures, then it must have been from man, right?

As ChallahG says: Judaism is an English word. It describes a concept just as other "isms" describe Communism, Socialism, etc.
English speakers have borrowed the word from the name of the Southern Kingdom, Judah. The Northern Kingdom, Israel, was destroyed and its people dispersed throughout the nations. If you understand the Hebrew Bible it will soon become obvious to you that the entire Bible is about the relationship between God and His people -- the people Israel, or Yisrael in Hebrew. If you want to refer to "Judaism" in Hebrew, you could call us Yisrael.
Am Yisrael Chai!

Judaism is the ENGLISH word applied to describe the culture and religious beliefs described in Tanakh.
You DO understand that there are no English words in Tanakh>
and that your question is pointless....

Cool answers.
I had though it might have come earlier because in the Book of Daniel, the Persians refer the people form Judea as Jew-deans and I thought this might have been the origin of Jew.
Thank you for the link to the Greek/Latin etymology.
Peace.

It's not called Judeaism. The religion and adherence to covenant that God made with the nation of Isreal(the jews) is Judeaism
