How to deal with burnout with midterms coming up?

Hello,

I am in college right now and I am afraid that I have burned out.

I was working on an essay for all of last week. I ditched classes and everything to work on this essay.

Now I learned that I have a midterm this following week (on friday) and I have done barely anything this weekend to study besides do homework and stuff.

I also have another midterm in another two weeks (time to study I guess, but I have a midterm this week to).

What can I do? I am burned out from that essay I worked on for all of last week and I want a good grade on this midterm. plus I actually need to know the material from the classes I ditched (though I can get notes for them), and I am not confident about the other midterm.

start studying for the midterm you have this week. Take like ten min breaks in between studying. Workout helps relieve stresses. Email your teacher or a friend that you know from class on the materials. Go tutoring or to any review session if they offer it at your college. Take alot of vitamin C b/c you cant afford to get sick.

    Good luck!

Honestly? This may not be the best advice but find a buddy that has adderall or ritalin and get some. If you take it for a few nights in a row, study your *** off, you'll be fine. Those drugs will make you focused, awake and capable of retention of information. Other than that you'll have to pump yourself full of energy drinks every couple hours to get this sort of focus. The downside is that after you come down, you'll feel tired as hell and not want to do anything but sleep.
