Every time I log in2 my Yahoo mail I've got requests wanting to add me to their chat list! How do I stop this?
It's a new development. I've had Yahoo mail for years and never had it before. I don't use any chat online so I'm assuming I don't have a messenger account? They are never people I know and I just decline the request. But I'd prefer to just stop it! Any ideas?

If you don't want to be bothered by the Chat feature, then click the little arrow in the box and then click Sign out of Chat. That should do it.

Me too. Is one of them called "Adele" by any chance? They're always there when I log in but I just close it down. Pain in the **** though.

I and several other people have the same problem. idk whats going on. Dont open them just delete them .
