What does it take to play D3 football and could i do it?
Okay so I'm looking to maybe play football in college. I'm a junior right now, but I don't play for my high school. I did play soccer for my school for 2 years before they decided they didn't want me back. I also swim for my school. Im not looking for scholarships for playing football, i just want to play. It's is something ive always wanted to do. So heres my questions:
1.) What does it take to play Division 3 football? (say at olivet college or albion college.)
2.) Could i do it?
Here is some information about my football skills and body shape:
*I am 6'0" and still growing and i weigh 220. I am bigger than most kids because of my wieght.
*I can run when im conditioned right. (from playing soccer, but right now im swimming so im not condidtioned to run)
*On defense I am looking to play linebacker or maybe defensesive end.If i decid to play on offense im looking to play either tight end or full back. I could play punter if needed.
*I can max out on leg press at around 850, 900 on a good day. I rep around 700.
*I can bench about 150
*I run around a 4.7-4.8 40.
*I play pick up games alot and i love to play. Coaches who have had me in other sports say i am mentally tough and have a good work ethic and that i am dedicated even if im not the best one out there.
*I could be an assest as a punter because i can an definaetly kick the ball and i can throw accuratley in short range but over 20 yards it gets to get innacruate.
*i follow football, college and pro, all year round. I follow D1 in college ball, so im not familiar with the skills of a D3 player. I know the rules and thinks you need to know to play.
* i wold also like to reiterate that i did not play football in high school, but ive always wanted to.
Thank you for wanting to answer my questions. I appreciate your time.

Anyone who'd ask this pack of lies never played a sport on any team, and never will.
I never know what to tell delusional little kids like you.

No it WON'T happen if he wants it bad enough. That's a bunch of crap, too. Pathetic. You never played any sport either.
