Does it bother you that Christmas decorations already out?
It's not even Halloween yet and already Christmas-related items are out--ornaments, decorations, etc.
I don't really mind it, as I like this time of year, but yet it seems so soon.

I even have not. have been given to plot the Thanksgiving ceremonial dinner first. as nicely, the Christmas season would not formally initiate till finally Christmas and lasts 12 days. maximum persons have all of it incorrect because of the fact of commercialization. i will placed up the decorations when I get some help bringing the tree and assorted packing containers up the rickety stairs and out of the basement. i did not comprehend my different chum there nonetheless has Halloween candy, i think of she desires some help eating it if its nonetheless around. you purchased to get interior the Christmas spirit quickly, only initiate thinking approximately it for now, you have time. In approximately 6 weeks you will experience all extra smart and only in time too. dangle in there.

What bothers me is your attitude toward the holiday. I think you need to read Dickens "A Christmas Carol." If you have read it, read it again. Scrooge is not just bah humbug and a cartoon. He is representative of what most people think of Christmas, a party, an excuse to get drunk. Christmas is a reminder that we are not just hear for ourselves, that we are hear to make the world a better place, not for ourselves but for others. It is about the birth of a child that came into this world to make it a better place for all of us and a person who gave up his life so that we could live better lives here and elsewhere.
We honor our soldiers for dying so that our country can be free but when it comes time once a year to honor someone who gave his life so that the world could be free, we say that's too much.
Christmas is not about decorations, ornaments, parties. But is is about a feeling toward each other and it will be over before you know it. So, know it for what it is. Peace.

Nope i dont mind. but i think it would be better to bring them out after holloween it sorta destroys the thing of Scary in holloween. Christmas and Holloween are great holidays because they are when you get out and do the really fun things. on holloween you can run into your friends or other kids that become your friends that night. not to mention christmas is the best if it snows (it hardly snows down here in the hotter areas i really love snow its fun havnt had enough snow to make a snow man or a snow angle or have a snow ball/fort battle in a really long time) i hope yall get alot of snow this christmas. that or it begins to snow early this year (like on holloweeen xP) snow on holloween would be awsome.

I love Christmas. But I'm a traditionalist.I think the decorations should go up after the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade is over. The day after is when I start listening to my Christmas cds.

I noticed two small Christmas trees in church Sunday. I thought it was insane. Now that I think of it, though, they are most likely out already because the church is preparing for the shoe box thing. You know, collecting items for children that are in need.
