If increased government spending on social programs is the answer to the economic issues facing the US?

Look at France:

Riots and fuel shortages, all because the government is forced to raise the pension age by 2 years and cut back on entitlements in order to prevent bankruptcy.

For years Liberals were parading around Europe as an example of Socialism working, despite years of warning from economists that it would not last. Guess what? Now Europe is facing a reckoning and people are happy with the ugly truth.

As I've said before:

Liberals only see the entitlements they want, not the consequences to trying to pay for them all.

Entitlements make for good eye-candy, unfortunatley you end up getting Swedish Fish for the price of Knipschildt's Chocopologie.

Increased government spending on social programs is NOT the answer to the economic issues facing the U.S. If I am in debt, $300, should I spend another $300? No because now I'm in debt $600. Why then, is this current administration doing this? It's quite obvious, they are all communists and desire to dismantle the U.S. from within. The cronies in the WH today are known socialists, communist, crazies, and if you look them up, research their ideology you'll see. We are supposed to be FREE here. That's what the founders wanted. They never desired a Heavy Gov hand with all these stupid programs. Do programs work, or does family work? Do programs work, or can you manage yourself? I believe that the American people can do just fine with a LIMITED government. That's American.

They actually are not. In fact, look at Denmark, the strongest economy in the EU. They are not cutting back at all. ALso, there is a difference between streamlining expenditures and cutting actual programs. I can tell you this, however; having divided my time pretty evenly between the US and Northern Europe over the last 20 years, the European economy is patently more stable than the US economy. This is not my opinion, but an actual fact. There is a less significant boom and bust cycle.

I don't know of anyone who is saying that "increased government spending on social programs is the answer to the economic issues facing the US".

If you can provide any proof that anyone is saying that, I'd like to see it.

yes, we should all quit or get pink-slips. Then sit at home breed and wait for our checks, food, free housing and schooling.
