Where is the best dealer to get a Subaru serviced at in Southern California?

Hi, I have a 2009 Subaru Forester that's due for scheduled maintenance. I was very displeased with the service I received from Bob Baker Subaru in Carlsbad and Kearny Mesa Subaru but want to go to a Subaru dealer for service so I don't void my warranty. Does anyone have a Subaru dealer that they can recommend for good service? I am willing to drive as far north as Los Angeles. Thank you!

    Hi LB,

    Using an independent mechanic/shop won't void your warranty from Subaru if you get the documentation to prove the work was done. You only need to use a Subaru dealer for warranty work itself. I know what you mean about poor dealers. We've found work that's overpriced and attempts to sell unnecessary service.. [e.g., high-priced synthetic oil as part of a service "package."] It seems to be part of the corporate mentality to rip off their customers. So find a good and honest local shop and save your receipts as well as money and aggravation. Regards.
