Oil companies not persuading public?

Can someone link me to a scholarly article about how oil companies, or fossil fuel companies DO NOT persuade the public on climate change or global warming?

The oil companies are pushing the global warming hoax.

They'll make a fortune charging more for fuels when cap and trade passes. Many are invested in all the "green" technologies that don't even work to provide 1% of our needs. But they know it's popular to "go green" so they're right in there making money.

And not to get picky, but there is no such thing as a fossil fuel. Oil is constantly created in the earth. It doesn't come from fossils anyway. That's ridiculous. And we have enough oil in the US alone to last us hundreds of years. And that's just what we know about.

You can't prove a negative, so there are no articles saying they are not trying to persuade the public one way or the other. Look for articles of what they ARE doing, not what they AREN'T doing.

You're not going find a scholarly article about it because fossil fuel companies DO persuade the public on climate change.

Can anyone give proof that they are persuading the public on climate change. With the lock down that the AGW crowd has on anyone who disagrees with them, it is hard for anyone to publish or say anything against AGW.
